ESP. "Ija mia" es una canción de consejo que recrea el diálogo entre una madre y una hija donde la madre advierte de los peligros del amor a su hija, representado por la imagen de una mar brava. En esta especie de discusión cantada, tanto la madre como la hija utilizan la misma melodía, arreglada para piano solo cambiando de estilo como si de una conversación de géneros se tratara. La poesía sefardí suele referirse a la mar como alegoría del casamiento.

En el poema visual de Jordi Larroch aparece un anillo en el dedo índice, donde la mujer tradicionalmente recibe el anillo de bodas. El anillo es cóncavo y contiene agua...

ENG. Ija mia is an original “advice” song that recreates the dialogue between a mother and a daughter where the mother alerts her daughter about dangers of love, represented by the image of the sea. In this kind of sung argument, mother and daughter use the same melody, arrange for piano solo shifting styles as a conversation between genres. Sephardic poetry usually refers to the sea as an allegory of marriage.

In the visual poem of Jordi Larroch appears a ring in the index finger, where women traditionally receive wedding ring. The ring contains water...
